Afar regional officials reported that over 200 civilians taking shelter in a school have been killed by Tigray forces in an artillery attack. A doctor in the hospital where most wounded arrived stated that 12 people died from the attack and dozens wounded, most with bullet wounds. According to a report by the Ethiopian Human Rights Commision, 107 people were killed and 35 injured when TDF launched an attack on Afar Special Forces.
